Abstract:
A method for providing presence information to presence system by WLAN comprises the following steps: presence information monitoring collector obtaining presence information after or in the course of WLAN user accessing the network; presence information monitoring collector sending apart or whole of the obtained presence information to presence service system entity. A system for providing presence information to presence system by WLAN is also provided in the invention. And the said method and system execute the obtaining of WLAN user terminal information and relevant information, and provide the required presence information to the presence system, make the presence service system to obtain user status more detailedly, and accordingly , provide better service.
