Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and system for purifying nickel sulfate. The method comprises: first adding ammonia solution into a nickel sulfate primary solution to adjust the pH, and then aging and performing solid-liquid separation to obtain a solution that has undergone impurity removal; performing deamination on said solution to obtain a deaminated solution; adding alcohol solution into the deaminated solution, and heating; then adding a nickel sulfate seed crystal, aging for a certain period, and then performing solid-liquid separation to obtain a high-purity nickel sulfate crystal. The system comprises a purification unit, a deamination unit and a dissolution unit. The purification unit comprises a purification tank and an ammonia storage tank; the deamination unit comprises a deamination tank, a deamination intake pipe and a deamination outlet pipe; and the dissolution unit comprises a dissolution tank and an alcohol storage tank. Compared with a nickel sulfate purification process in which different elements are removed step by step by using conventional extraction, and in the present invention, only ammonia solution is used to remove impurities, and alcohol is added under heating for dissolving and crystallization, and thus most impurities can be removed in just two steps; therefore, impurity removal steps are shortened, the process is simplified, new impurities are not introduced, and high-purity nickel sulfate crystals are generated.
