Abstract:
A method and system for quickly entering a password of a television, the method for quickly entering a password of a television comprising the following steps: in a television, establishing a mapping relation table between a number key value on a remote control and a character; the television receiving a number key value transmitted by the remote control and converting the received number key value into a corresponding character according to the mapping relation table; and the television entering the converted character into a currently activated password input box, which may simplify a password entering operation of the television.
