Abstract:
Provided are a method and a system for replacing an SE key of a mobile terminal. A method for replacing an SE key according to an embodiment of the present invention requests, upon receipt of a request for a replacement of a key inserted in an SE embedded in a mobile terminal, a new key to a service provider which has issued the replacement-requested key, and delivers the new key to the mobile terminal. As described above, the key inserted in the SE may be replaced online by a user request. Thus, a user may replace his/her SE key without visiting a specific organization having a key insertion device in cases where the key inserted in an SE has to be replaced due to an exposure of the key or the like, thus improving user convenience.
