Abstract:
A method and system for safety protection of a photovoltaic system. The method comprises: a safety controller detects whether a fault occurs to the photovoltaic system or not in real time; if yes, the safety controller controls a module shutdown to be turned off to disable the voltage generated by a photovoltaic module to be output to a direct-current cable. According to the technical solution of the present application, the safety controller detects whether a fault occurs to the photovoltaic system in real time; if the fault is detected, the safety controller controls the module shutdown to be turned off to disable the voltage generated by the photovoltaic module to be output to the direct-current cable, and at this time, the voltage output by the direct-current cable is low, and accordingly, the safety risk brought by the voltage output by the direct-current cable is greatly reduced, so as to guarantee the safety of the photovoltaic system.
