Disclosed in the present invention are a method and system for saving a user login state for use in an iOS client terminal, relating to the field of iOS client terminal application development. The steps of the method of: after an application starts up on the client terminal, the client terminal acquires user login information inputted by a user, and a service terminal generates a long token corresponding to the user login information and a short token associated with the long token; the service terminal and the client terminal both save the long and short tokens and the user login information; when the user executes on the application a use request requiring user login state information, the client terminal sends to the service terminal a use request comprising the short token corresponding to the current user; and when the user uses the application on the client terminal, the client terminal determines whether the long and short tokens have expired. In the present invention, after user registration for an application is implemented for the first time on an iOS client terminal, there is no need to request login from the service terminal, i.e. the user login state can be maintained for a long period, greatly facilitating use and being suitable for widespread promotion.
