Abstract:
The present invention provides a scanning device and method of a surrounding environment in real time. The scanning device includes a plurality of data capturing modules. The data capturing modules are configured to capture data from different directions at the same instance. This captured data is then processed using a processing module to align and stitch data captured from the plurality of data capturing modules to generate a composite information that may be 3-dimensional in nature in real time. The data may be updated at regular time intervals.
