Provided are a method and system for selecting a seat employing virtual reality technology, and a virtual reality head-mounted device. The method comprises: constructing a virtual reality 3D model of an actual site, and constructing a two-dimensional seat layout in the virtual reality 3D model (S110); displaying the two-dimensional seat layout in a virtual reality head-mounted device worn by a user, and acquiring a preselected seat of the user (S120); automatically moving a visual angle to the position of the preselected seat, and displaying a 3D panoramic view effect at the position of the visual angle in the virtual reality head-mounted device worn by the user (S130); and if the user is satisfied with the 3D panoramic view effect, wirelessly sending information of the preselected seat to a ticketing server via the virtual reality head-mounted device to issue a ticket; and if the user is not satisfied, redisplaying the seat two-dimensional layout in the virtual reality head-mounted device, so that the user can select another seat (S140). Therefore, quick ticket purchasing can be realized, and the user can experience a viewing effect in a real scene in advance, so as to effectively improve user experience.
