Abstract:
A method for the storage and recovery of electrical energy is disclosed, characterized in that the electric energy is transformed into storable potential energy of position of a solid body, whereby in order to transform and store the electric energy solid bodies (1,92,75) are transported from an initial position (2,93) to another position (3,94) at a higher altitude by means of mechanisms and machines using electrical energy and whereby the recovery of the stored electrical energy is achieved by returning the solid bodies (1,92,75) to the initial position (2,93) and converting the potential energy into electrical energy by means of generators.
