METHOD OF TAKING OUT CARTRIDGE

A cartridge take-out method with which a cartridge housed in the inner end of a cell and caught on a wall surface of the cell can be taken out.  The method is realized without an increase in the number of parts. A cartridge take-out method includes a pressing step and a release step which are adapted to take out a cartridge caught on a wall surface of a cell.  In the pressing step, a picker mechanism is made to be in contact with a latch lever and then moved so as to move the latch lever in the direction in which the latch lever moves from an engagement position toward a release position.  This presses the latch lever to increase an urging force of an urging means.  In the release step, the picker mechanism is moved after the pressing step in the direction in which the picker mechanism is separated from the cell to release the urging force of the latch lever spring.
