Abstract:
A method for controlling the performance of handover, which could be used in the
handover process in Long Term Evolution system and the handover process between
the Long Term Evolution system and other systems. After the terminal has completed
the reception or transmission of the last data packet in the source cell, or when
the terminal has received the signaling for indicating the handover and then
enters into the handover process, the terminal starts to perform transmitting
or receiving in the target cell in the predetermined disruption time. A terminal
includes: disruption time setting unit, checking unit and performing unit.
The invention could realize the successful handover and meanwhile reduce the
waste of the network resource.
