Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for controlling the loading of a media resource, comprising: monitoring a touch screen swipe event; detecting whether a User Interface (UI) is in inertial scrolling when the touch screen swipe event is monitored; measuring the speed of the inertial scrolling when the UI is monitored in inertial scrolling; determining whether the initial speed of the inertial scrolling is larger than a first speed threshold; stopping loading a media resource to be loaded on the UI when the initial speed is larger than the first speed threshold; and resuming loading the media resource to be loaded on the UI when the inertial movement speed is decreased to be equal to or smaller than a second speed threshold. The technical solution of the invention can dynamically control the loading of the media resource according to whether the speed of inertial scrolling is larger than a preset speed threshold, so that the white block problem and limited UI scrolling speed are avoided on the premise of low power consumption and smooth UI, and user experience is improved.
