Abstract:
A method, terminal, and network server for information encryption and decryption and key management. The method comprises: a transmitting terminal creates a random key on a network server (S101); the transmitting terminal encrypts to-be-transmitted information either on the basis of a common key negotiated with a receiving terminal and of the random key or simply on the basis of the random key to produce encrypted ciphertext (S201); and, the transmitting terminal transmits the encrypted ciphertext to the receiving terminal (S103). By utilizing the random key stored on the network server either independently or in combination with the common key for encryption or decryption, the receiving terminal queries the server for the random key, and only when the random key is acquired can decryption of the encrypted ciphertext be completed, thus increasing the security in information transmission for the terminals. In addition, by deleting or freezing the random key on the network server, the transmitting terminal prevents the receiving terminal from acquiring the random key and thus from decrypting, thus allowing the terminal to remotely control destruction of encrypted information.
