Title:
METHOD FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL CULTURE OF CELLS USING FIBER-ON-FIBER AND SUBSTRATE THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/196549
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides, for example, the following: a substrate for cell culture, which is a support on which are contained nanofibers formed from a biopolymer selected from the group consisting of gelatin, collagen, and cellulose; a cell cryogen containing the substrate; a method for cell culture comprising inoculation of cells onto the substrate and static culture of the cells; the same method comprising dissociation of the cells from the substrate using an enzyme-free dissociation solution, inoculation of the cells onto another of the culture substrate, and further static culture of the cells; in particular, a method comprising separation of subcultured cells into single cells; and a method for cryopreservation of pluripotent stem cells using the cell cryogen.
