Abstract:
A method to perform unified communication service is disclosed, which includes:
UC client gets the communication information within the region of the current
location of the mouse through the manner of capture characters from screen, and
performs the UC service based on the communication information that has been
acquired. The communication information that has been acquired can includes
phone number, email address and/or accounts information of the user et al. In
addition, a UC client is disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention,
the UC client includes a display communication information getting unit that
is used for getting the communication information displayed in the terminal
through the manner of capture characters from screen and a UC service performing
unit that is used for performing UC service based on the communication information
that has been acquired. Therefore, the user can register the communication information
to the UC client only through moving the mouse or pressing the key in the current
interface, avoiding the fussy operation that is induced from the manual inputting
the communication information by the user in the UC client interface of the prior
art, and alleviating the burden of the user.
