Title:
METHOD FOR TRACKING MAXIMUM POWER POINT OF PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER CONVERSION APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/111336
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for tracking a maximum power point of a photovoltaic power conversion apparatus, in which the maximum power point is tracked by sensing the voltage, current, and temperature of solar cells and, more specifically, to a method for tracking a maximum power point of a photovoltaic power conversion apparatus, in which, by tracking the maximum power point using the temperature of a solar cell module, accurate maximum power point tracking is possible, and thus damage from a fire caused by the occurrence of hot spots in a solar cell module can be prevented, resulting in the extended lifespan of the solar cell module, and in which a power conversion unit can prevent loss that may occur as a result of tracking power, not maximum power, and accordingly, can transmit a signal to an upper-level control circuit, thereby securing safety.
