Abstract:
A method for transferring media flow and a system and a server thereof in communication technique field are used to resolve the problem that hold media flow can not be transferred to a user device in circuit domain in prior art. The method is: receiving a session request message for establishing media flow connection; sending an establishing request message to a local circuit domain user device for requesting to establish a media flow connection according to the session request message, wherein the circuit domain user device is in the circuit domain; after the circuit domain user device has sent a connect message in response for the establish information, sending a resume message or a device message to the circuit domain user device according to an indication message in the session request message for establishing a local hold media flow; receiving a hold request message sent by the circuit domain user device; sending a hold acknowledgement message in response for the hold request message to the circuit domain user device; sending a success response message to a service call session control function device. A hold media flow can be transferred to a user device in circuit domain by using the method.
