Abstract:
A method and transmission device for controlling retransmission in the field of communication are provided. The present invention includes: receiving a TCP data packet from the transmitting end, dividing the TCP data packet into sub-data packet, and sending to the receiving end, at least part link in transmission sub-data packet is radio link; if the transmitting end does not receive ACK indicating that the TCP data packet has been received from the receiving end within the estimated ACK receiving time, and the sub-data packet obtained by dividing the TCP data packet has been sent to the receiving end completely, and re-transmitting the TCP data packet. After sending the sub-data packet created by the TCP data packet, if the transmitting end receives NAK indicating failure of receiving sub-data packet from the receiving end, and re-transmits the TCP data packet. The present invention is used to control TCP data packet retransmission.
