Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure are a method for transmitting a data volume, an apparatus, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: in a scenario in which a PDCP entity transmits data packets of a first service to at least one type of radio link control (RLC) entities, the PDCP entity transmits to a media access control (MAC) entity associated with the at least one type of RLC entities a data volume of data to be transmitted. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in a scenario of transmitting first service data, traffic-offload transmission of the service data is achieved by means of a PDCP layer, and, given the at least one type of RLC entities receiving off-loaded traffics, the data volume of the data to be transmitted is reported to the associated MAC entity, thus providing a mode of effectively reporting data volumes in XR service traffic-offloading scenarios.
