Abstract:
Proposed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a feedback frame in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a first STA generates a feedback frame on the basis of a MIMO beamforming procedure. The first STA transmits the feedback frame to a second STA. The feedback frame is transmitted through a channel resulting from aggregation of a first channel and a second channel. The feedback frame includes a first beamforming feedback matrix transmitted through the first channel and a second beamforming feedback matrix transmitted through the second channel. When the feedback frame is not transmitted through the resulting channel, the feedback frame includes a third beamforming feedback matrix. The third beamforming feedback matrix has columns, the number of which is set to Nc, and has rows, the number of which is set to Nr. Nc is determined on the basis of the total number of spatial streams supported by the first STA. The first beamforming feedback matrix has columns, the number of which is set to Nc/2, and has rows, the number of which is set to Nr/2. The second beamforming feedback matrix has columns, the number of which is set to Nc/2, and has rows, the number of which is set to Nr/2.
