Abstract:
Disclosed in an embodiment of the invention are a method for transmitting a reference signal, a related device, and a communication system. The method comprises: an access network device determining a time-frequency resource in a transmission unit occupied by a reference signal at at least one antenna port, the transmission unit comprising a first portion and a second portion, a symbol in the first portion being different from a symbol in the second portion, the time-frequency resource being located at a single symbol or multiple continuous symbols in the first portion, the reference signal at each antenna port being located at the same symbol, and the single symbol or each of the multiple continuous symbols carrying the reference signals at the at least one antenna port; and the access network device transmitting, by means of the time-frequency resource, the reference signal to a user equipment unit. The embodiment of the invention provides a reference signal mapping rule and an antenna port mapping solution applicable to an NR MIMO system.
