Title:
METHOD OF TREATING BIOMASS, FUEL FOR FUEL CELL, GASOLINE, DIESEL FUEL, LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS, AND SYNTHETIC RESIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/020551
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Biomass is treated by catalytic cracking with a fluid catalytic cracking apparatus which has a reaction zone, separation zone, stripping zone, and regeneration zone. In the reaction zone, a raw oil containing biomass is treated with a catalyst containing 10-50 mass% ultrastable zeolite Y under the conditions of a reaction zone outlet temperature of 580-680°C, a catalyst/oil ratio of 10-40 wt/wt, a reaction pressure of 1-3 kg/cm2G, and a raw oil/catalyst contact time in the reaction zone of 0.1-1.0 second. Subsequently, in the regeneration zone, the catalyst is treated under the conditions of a regeneration zone temperature of 640-720°C, a regeneration zone pressure of 1-3 kg/cm2G, and an oxygen concentration in the discharge gas at the regeneration zone outlet of 0-3 mol%.
