Abstract:
Present invention relates to the method of treating cancer. According to present invention, a pharmaceutical composition made from "Mycobacterium w' (M>w<) is found to be useful in the management of cancer. We have now found that the same therapeutic agent is useful in management of cancer. The use of Mycobacterium w containing formulations is associated with decrease in burden of cancer tissue, decreasing symptoms associated with cancer and improving quality of life. It also improves tolerance to other therapies.
