Abstract:
A method for treating a finely particulate waste, wherein a finely particulate waste containing water is mixed with a lime powder to react the lime powder with a part of the water into slaked lime, to thereby form a first mixture, the first mixture is mixed with a soft-burnt magnesia powder to react the soft-burnt magnesia powder with the rest of the water into magnesium hydroxide, to thereby form a second mixture having a low water content, and the second mixture is solidified into a massive product. The method allows the formation of a massive product form a finely particulate waste at a low cost and with good efficiency.
