Abstract:
Provided is an efficient method for treating a fluorine-containing aqueous solution, wherein the reaction of fluorine ions in the fluorine-containing aqueous solution with a disiloxane compound can proceed within a short time. A method for treating a fluorine-containing aqueous solution, which involves a reaction step of mixing the fluorine-containing aqueous solution with a disiloxane compound represented by the general formula: RaRbRcSiOSiRdReRf (wherein Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd, Re and Rf are independently selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, a phenyl group and a hydrogen atom) in a vertical direction to cause the reaction of fluorine ions in the fluorine-containing aqueous solution with the disiloxane compound, thereby producing a first reaction solution containing monofluorosilane compounds respectively represented by the general formula: RaRbRcSiF and the general formula: RdReRfSiF.
