Title:
METHOD FOR TREATING HIGH-HARDNESS DISCHARGED WATER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/154624
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method for treating high-hardness discharged water according to one aspect of the present invention is a method for treating high-hardness discharged water having a calcium hardness degree of 100 or more, said method comprising the steps of: adding an alkali to the high-hardness discharged water; coarsely filtering the alkaline high-hardness discharged water that is produced after the alkali addition step through a filter; and subjecting the alkaline high-hardness discharged water that is produced after the coarse filtration step to membrane filtration through a microfiltration membrane or an ultrafiltration membrane each containing polytetrafluoroethylene as the main component. It is preferred that the pH value of the high-hardness discharged water is adjusted to 8 to 14 inclusive in the alkali addition step. It is preferred that the coarse filtration is carried out using a filter having a retention particle diameter of 1 μm.
