A first substrate (100) is prepared. The first substrate (100) has a first surface (102). The first surface (102) includes wells (102a). The wells (102a) are each demarcated by an electrode (120) and a resist (130). A solution (L) is then arranged on the first surface (102) of the first substrate (100). A second substrate (200) is then prepared. The second substrate (200) has a second surface (202). The second surface (202) of the second substrate (200) is hydrophobic. The first substrate (100) and the second substrate (200) are then pressed against each other so that the first surface (102) and the second surface (202) face each other.
