Title:
METHOD FOR TREATING SUGAR SOLUTION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING TREATED SUGAR SOLUTION, TREATED SUGAR SOLUTION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANIC COMPOUND, AND METHOD FOR CULTURING MICROORGANISMS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/137467
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to: a method for treating a solution that contains sugars, wherein the method for treating a sugar solution includes a heat treatment step for heating the sugar solution at a temperature of 100-180ºC, and a reduction treatment step for causing a reducing agent to act on the sugar solution that has been heated in the heat treatment step; a method for producing a treated sugar solution using this treatment method; a treated sugar solution obtained by treatment using this treatment method; a method for producing an organic compound, the method including an organic material production step for obtaining an organic compound by causing microorganisms having the ability to produce an organic material to act on an organic raw material containing the treated sugar solution; and a method for culturing microorganisms using the treated sugar solution as a carbon source.
