Abstract:
A method for measuring the adjacent cell includes: determining the measuring
type needed to carry out the measurement on the signal quality of the object adjacent
cell; measuring the signal quality of the object adjacent cell according to the
determined measuring type. A UE for measuring the adjacent cell is also disclosed
in the present invention, which includes: a measuring type determining module
for determining the type for measuring the object adjacent cell; a measuring
module for measuring the object adjacent cell according to the measuring type
determined by the measuring type determining module and the said measuring parameters.
The present invention is suitable for the real situation in which the bandwidth
varied in the third generation mobile communication technique long term evolution
(LTE) application environment, therefore the measurement on the adjacent cell
of the LTE system can be realized by applying the solution of the present invention.
