Abstract:
Proposed is an effective processing method for excess water and water suspensions that inevitably occur when unloading water-containing bulk material.
During unloading operations when unloading water-containing bulk materials, such as ores or coal, from a freighter using a grab bucket (5) of a bridge crane or an unloader, if a water suspension (Wm) of powder particles that are suspended in the water form, the excess water and powder particles in the water suspension (Wm) are made to condense and aggregate by adding a polymer flocculant to the water suspension (Wm), and then are unloaded with the bulk material.
