Abstract:
Provided are a method for updating map and a mobile robot, which relate to the field of navigation control technology. First, acquiring a current map constructed by a first mobile device performing a navigation moving operation in a physical space and a current positioning data set thereof (S110); wherein the first mobile device uses a pre-stored reference map corresponding to the physical space and the reference positioning data set thereof to navigate and move; then performing data fusion processing on the reference map, the reference positioning data set thereof and the current map, the current positioning data set thereof (S120); finally the map after data fusion and its positioning data set are used as the new reference map and the reference positioning data set thereof in the first mobile device. The method provides a solution for map persistence, and the map covers different scenes over time, so that the map can provide positioning information for mobile devices under different time periods and lighting conditions.
