Abstract:

Provided is a feature for a user to determine timing with which a program is updated. A program for controlling the operation of an apparatus mounted in a vehicle is updated. A method for performing this update is provided with a first step for determining whether or not storing a program for update for updating the program is completed, a second step for notifying that the storing is completed when the determination result of the first step is positive, and a third step for starting the updating of the program by the stored program for update after a prescribed indication after the second step.
