Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present application are a method of upgrading a distributed system, a distributed system, and an upgrade management device. In a first aspect of the solution, computing nodes are upgraded in batches, i.e. only part of the computing nodes are upgraded at a time, and the other computing nodes can continue providing services, such that the system can continue providing services while being upgraded. In a second aspect, computing nodes to be upgraded can transfer services or tasks thereof to other computing nodes that have been upgraded or will not be upgraded this time, such that the distributed system is not affected by the upgrade and can continue providing services, thus improving service quality provided by the distributed system.
