Abstract:
A method, user equipment and system for selecting a channel of mosaic channels based on IPTV are disclosed in the present invention, as well as a method and device for setting an operation page of mosaic channels based on IPTV. The method for selecting a channel comprises the steps that: a user equipment sends a request to an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) entity to acquire an operation page of the current channel, wherein, the current channel is a mosaic channel; the user equipment plays the current channel, and loads the operation page received from the EPG entity, wherein, a number of focus frames corresponding to individual video images of the current channel are included in the operation page, and each of the focus frames is associated with the link address of the relevant channel; in response to the operation of selecting the focus frames from the user, it is possible to switch to the channel of the video image corresponding to the selected focus frame via the link address of the selected focus frame. According to the technical solution of the present invention, a user is allowed to visually switch via video images to the channel which is desired to be watched, so as to improve the user’s experience.
