Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for using air to remove precipitated contaminating oil, and more particularly, to a method for removing precipitated contaminating oil from the ocean by discharging compressed air, and removing precipitated contaminating oil from areas without water such as sand, rocks, and soil, by discharging pressurized air together with supplied water, in order to remove gas components from the oil and to float the residual oil to the surface where it can be removed. The method for using air to remove precipitated contaminating oil according to the present invention, as a method of removing precipitated oil from below the water surface, involves introducing an air jet onto the floor below the water surface and discharging compressed air, so as to elevate water and sand or mud together with the compressed air, eject and separate gas from oil by means of the kinetic energy of air bubbles generated from the flow of compressed air, and float the oil from which the gas has been removed to the surface of the water, where the oil can be removed.
