Abstract:
A method of using composite enzyme for degumming jute is provided. Said composite
enzyme contains pectase and laccase. The method includes the following steps:
a. immersing the jute in a composite enzyme aqueous solution made of pectase and
laccase and adjusting the weight ratio of said composite enzyme aqueous solution
and the jute; b. adjusting pH of said composite enzyme aqueous solution and maintaining
its temperature for a period of time at certain temperature; c. further adjusting
pH of the solution and maintaining its temperature for anther period of time at
certain temperature; d. enzyme inactivation treating the jute treated by the
composite enzyme.
