Abstract:
A method for using voice recognition to start up a specific application, and a mobile terminal, the method comprising: recording a voice preset by the user to match a specific application (S101); when the user inputs the voice, detecting whether there is a specific application matching the voice (S102); if so, then opening the specific application (S103), and if not, maintaining the original state (S104). By means of defining an opening method for commonly used applications, a user is thus able to quickly and conveniently open a required application amongst numerous applications.
