The present invention relates to a method for visually displaying improved acoustic information of an acoustic camera, comprising: 1) a step (S110) in which an acoustic camera is provided; 2) an absolute level assignment step (S130) in which a processing unit (40) assigns acoustic parameter absolute levels having different sizes to color elements (H_k, wherein k = 1, 2, 3,…, n) having different colors; 3) an acoustic parameter calculation step (S140) in which the processing device (40) calculates, on the basis of the acoustic signals sensed by an acoustic sensor (21), the acoustic parameters (for example, beam power) of elements belonging to one frame; 4) an acoustic image generation step (S150) in which an acoustic image generation unit (20) generates, on the basis of the acoustic parameter values of the elements belonging to the corresponding frame, color images of the respective elements according to the absolute levels assigned to the color elements (H_k, wherein k = 1, 2, 3,..., n); and 5) an overlap display step (S160) in which a display unit (30) overlaps, on an optical image (I1), the color elements assigned to the respective elements and displays same.
