Abstract:
By efficiently washing cells, cells from which unnecessary components have been removed are collected. A method for washing cells which comprises: a centrifugation step (S1) comprising introducing a cell suspension into a centrifuge container provided with a washing liquor-jetting port facing the bottom, and rotating the container in such a manner that the bottom is radially outwardly directed, to thereby centrifuge and sediment the cells at the bottom; a supernatant-discharging step (S2) for discharging the supernatant separated by the centrifugation in the preceding centrifugation step (S1); and a washing step (S3) for, after discharging the supernatant in the preceding supernatant-discharging step (S2), jetting a washing liquor from the jetting port while rotating the centrifuge container.
