Abstract:
Provided are a method and water dispenser for matching output water temperature according to a hand gesture, said method comprising: recording one or a plurality of hand gesture information, and output water temperatures matching said hand gesture information one-to-one (S101); detecting hand gesture information inputted by a user, and determining whether output water temperature matching said hand gesture information inputted by the user is present (S102); if not, then not dispensing water (S103); if so, then according to the hand gesture information inputted by the user, providing to the user drinking-water having an output temperature matching said hand gesture inputted by the user (S104). By means of matching a hand gesture to an output water temperature, the water dispenser is able to memorize the output water temperature desired by a user, and thus automatically set for the user the ratio of hot water to cold water; when desired by the user, the temperature of the water is the same each time the user drinks it.
