Abstract:
A method for a water heater to automatically adjust and control water flow strength, comprising: recording a water flow strength lasting for a certain threshold value at a specific indoor temperature (S101); when a ratio of the number of times the water flow strength lasting for the certain threshold value at the specific indoor temperature appears to the number of times other water flow strengths lasting for the certain threshold value at the specific indoor temperature appears is greater than a certain threshold value, setting the water flow strength lasting for the certain threshold value at the specific indoor temperature as the matching water flow strength (S102); detecting a current indoor temperature for a user (S103); and preferentially setting the water flow strength to be the matching water flow strength according to the current indoor temperature (S104). By means of the method, the usage habits of a user are learned automatically, such that the user may more preferentially use the water flow strength to which the user is most accustomed when taking a bath. Further disclosed is a water heater using the method.
