Abstract:
Use is made of flexible waterproofing container (10) furnished with waterproofing
agent sealing bag (12) having waterproofing agent (50) sealed therein and with
harness wrap part (15) provided on its one side portion with waterproofing agent
sealing part (11) having cut (14) extending from the front edge to the vicinity
of the brim of the waterproofing agent sealing bag (12) and provided with adhesive
(16) applied to the inner face of the other side portion continuing from the waterproofing
agent sealing part (11). The front edge of the waterproofing agent sealing part
(11) of the waterproofing container (10) is inserted inside wire assemblage
(W) of the wire harness. Partial area thereof is exposed from the circumference
of the wire harness (W), and the waterproofing agent sealing part (11) of the exposed
area and the harness wrap part (15) are wound round the circumferential surface
of the wire harness and bonded together. Thereafter, strong pressure is applied
to the exposed area of the waterproofing agent sealing part (11), so that the cut
(14) inside the wire assemblage (W) is broken to thereby attain filling of wire
interstices of the wire assemblage with the waterproofing agent (50).
