METHOD FOR WEAKENING TROPICAL CYCLONES (HURRICANES, TYPHOONS)

The invention can be used for protecting human life from dangerous and especially dangerous phenomena (hurricanes, typhoons) provoked by cyclones and also for regulating the volume of simultaneous precipitation events, being important for the agricultural sector (controlling tropical cyclones). The weakening of cyclones (hurricanes, typhoons) by preventing the destructive effect thereof is carried out by creating an atmospheric motion wherein certain areas thereof are influenced upon. In order to identify the troposphere impact areas, a value of available potential energy in the troposphere is calculated and the results are compared with a rating value of the available potential energy which produces a breakdown wind velocity dangerous for the environment. If a measured value of the available potential energy reaches the rating value of the available potential energy, one or several impact areas are selected for transformation of the available potential energy into kinetic energy, thereby forming a cyclone having a power which dos not exceed a destructive level.
