A method of welding a flow passage-forming member, capable of minimizing the deterioration of a crystalline structure of a weld by heating joint portions only for a short period of time and thereby melting the same; and a flow passage-forming member, the method comprising providing at least two hollow members, and combining the members together by welding end surfaces thereof together to form a flow passage-forming member, wherein electromagnetic wave is applied to melt the end surfaces in welding, the welding of the hollow members being done by melting the end surface of at least one hollow member, which is formed of an alloy material containing at least two kinds of metals, a boiling point of at least one kind of metal contained in the alloy material being preferably lower than a melting point of the alloy material, the alloy material preferably comprising brass, the electromagnetic waves being preferably a YAG laser beam.
