Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for wireless communication inside a battery pack, and a master BMS that provides the method. The master BMS of the present invention is a master BMS that performs wireless communication with a slave battery management system (BMS) according to a frequency hopping method inside the battery pack, the master BMS comprising: a communication unit that receives first channel scan information generated by scanning a plurality of channels belonging to a frequency band used for the wireless communication by means of a device outside of the battery pack; a channel analysis unit that generates second channel scan information by scanning the plurality of channels belonging to the frequency band; a storage unit that stores therein a reference signal to noise ratio (SNR) value for the wireless communication; and a control unit that selects a hopping channel used for the frequency hopping method on the basis of the first channel scan information, and calculates a signal strength of the selected hopping channel on the basis of the second channel scan information and the reference SNR value.
