Abstract:
The method for writing data according to an aspect of the present invention pertains to loading an energy less than or equal to an energy E in a first direction of an energized part when the pulse width of an applied pulse is t in a spin element that includes the energized part extending along the first direction and an element portion stacked on one surface of the energized part, the element portion having a non-magnetic layer and a ferromagnetic layer. The energy E is represented by a given relational expression (1):
E = (A + BtC)-1 + D … (1)
Where A, B, C, and D represent constants determined in accordance with the non-magnetic layer.
