Abstract:
Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a method for feature extraction, a method for panoramic stitching, apparatus thereof, a device, and a computer readable storage medium. The method for panoramic stitching comprises: receiving inputted images requiring stitching; calculating feature points according to the images and matching the feature points; calculating a transformation matrix according to feature points on the images; transforming the images by using the transformation matrix so as to obtain transformed images; projecting the transformed images so as to complete stitching; fusing the stitched images so as to obtain a fused panoramic image; calculating feature points according to the images and matching the feature points comprises calculating key points and the feature vectors of the key points according to a feature extraction method, the key points being feature points, and matching the feature points according to the feature points in the images and the feature vectors of the feature points. The embodiment of the present application increases the speed of feature extraction, the speed of feature point matching and the speed of panoramic stitching.
