Abstract:
A method of forming a polybenzimidazole coating film on a substrate surface&semi and a method of forming a polybenzimidazole film. The former method comprises applying a solution containing a prepolymer for polybenzimidazole to a substrate surface and heating the coating to cyclize the prepolymer to thereby form a cured coating film on the substrate surface. The latter method comprises peeling the cured coating film from the substrate to form a film.
