Abstract:
Provided are a method for presenting map data, a method for providing map data, a terminal device and a server. The method for presenting map data comprises: receiving map data and position information about an interest point from a server; displaying the received map data, and labelling the interest point on the displayed map according to the position information about the interest point; and in response to an operation of a user on the labelled interest point, sending a data representation request containing the information about the interest point to the server, receiving characteristic representation data corresponding to the interest point from the server, and displaying the characteristic representation data, wherein the characteristic representation data is service interaction data or multimedia data. Characteristic representation data generated and stored for the interest point can be acquired from a service provider providing map services, so that a variety of representation data can be provided for users.
