Abstract:
Provided is an MgLaNi-based environmentally friendly material. The MgLaNi-based environmentally friendly material is prepared by the following method: providing Mg, Ce, La, Y, Cu and Ni metal raw materials; weighing the Mg, Ce, La, Y, Cu and Ni metal raw materials according to a preset chemical formula; first vacuum smelting the weighed Mg, Ce, La, Y, Cu and Ni metal raw materials to obtain a primary MgLaNi-based alloy ingot; crushing the primary MgLaNi-based alloy ingot; single-roller quenching the crushed MgLaNi-based alloy so as to obtain an MgLaNi-based alloy strip; heat treating the MgLaNi-based alloy strip; milling the heat treated MgLaNi-based alloy strip to obtain an MgLaNi-based alloy powder; ball-milling the MgLaNi-based alloy powder; and hot pressing and sintering the ball-milled MgLaNi-based alloy powder. The preparation process is more rational in comparison to a process of the prior art, can ensure the powder particle size, and reduces the segregation of alloy components to the greatest extent. The final performance of an alloy can be consistent with the expected value.
